Inflatable furniture returned in the late 90s which is probably the era that most readers of this blog recognize it from. I m giving away my age here but i had a lot of inflatable furniture as a 90s tween. The picture is somewhat random but we used it for my 90 s party and stuck an inflatable alien on it as decor. Saggy uncomfortable almost inconveniently lightweight.

Although it was for a period of time very hip inflatable furniture in the 90s had the same problems that plagued the ikea designers. But really the only reason i wanted inflatable furniture was because britney spears thought it was cool. I was so thrilled and the seat is sturdy too. I had blow up furniture while growing up in the 90 s for my 25th birthday my husband bought me this inflatable chair.

That s all i needed to know. If there was one piece of furniture every child in the 90s craved an inflatable chair was it. The chairs are the perfect blast from the past to add to that dusty unused corner of your living space. In the 90s and early 2000s you thought inflatable furniture was da bomb.

The guests also got a kick out of it as seen in my second picture. The inexpensive blow up furniture is gorgeously kitschy and gloriously 90s ranging in price from 19 to 59. The glistening purple plastic of the blow up sofa armchair and ottoman looked so out of place in my otherwise traditional bedroom.
